Every year at the beginning of February, the ''Percée du Vin Jaune'' attracts many amateurs of wine in Jura (about 45 0000 people in every edition). This event takes place every year in a different village of Jura and aim at celebrating the barrel extraction of the famous ''Vin Jaune''. Music, animations and decorations are always there ... The visitors can so walk in a festive atmosphere in tasting cellar and discover wines of Jura.
The ''Percée du Vin Jaune'' is also awaited for its famous auction, on which the visitors can acquire high-quality regional wines and certain bottles leave at a high price. The record is 57 000€ for one ''Vin Jaune'' bottle from 1774.
